The Lady Cardinal took home a victory on Monday as they traveled to Lexington in Softball action. The ladies won 14 to 2 in MRVC action. Kenadie Austin pitched 7 innings allowing just 5 hits and 2 runs for the win. She struck out 7 and gave up no walks in a great effort. The offense was led by Kennison Crispi who went 4 for 5 and scoring twice and driving in 1. Maddie Hess went 3 for 4 from the plate and driving in 4 RBI’s. Taryn Mantonya was 3 for 5 on the day and contributed 2 RBI’s for the victory. The Lady Cardinals(2-2) will be at home today as they take on Sherwood Lady Marksman(2-2) in both junior varsity and varsity action. The contest will begin at 4:30 pm.
