The Lady Cardinals have been barreling their way through their tough schedule. This week is Clinton Tournament week, and after Tuesday night’s win the Lady Cardinals are now sitting at 11-2 on the season. The Lady Cardinals faced the athletic Adrian Blackhawks. Those girls battled hard, winning each quarter. The Lady Cardinals started off in a 11-2 run in the first quarter, really showcasing their skills. The Adrian Blackhawks were not easily shut down, and battled the next three quarters as well but not quite meeting Clinton’s level. With 11 steals, the Lady Cardinals’ quick scoring secured the win. Leading scorers of the evening were Junior Skyte Wilson with 17, and Senior Briley Wishard with 14. Next round of the tournament the Lady Cardinals will face the Butler Bears.
