The CHS Boys and Girls basketball teams outscored the Archie Whirlwinds (12/5).
The Lady Cardinals started out slow, letting the whirlwinds take an early lead but they powered through and dominated the last three quarters of the game. Score resulted in a victory 62-53. The Cardinals boys basketball team let the whirlwinds control most of the game, although with only 3 minutes to go in the fourth quarter, the cardinals came back from a 14- point deficit to win the game 44-42.
Lead scorers for the lady cardinals were Junior Skyte Wilson with 23 and Senior Briley Wishard with 21.
