The CHS boys basketball team started out slow against Ozark Highland Conference opponents the Butler Bears, and unfortunately could not pull out the win. Fighting until the last second the cardinals fell to the bears 53-65. The Cardinals will play this Thursday with their opponent TBD.
Lead scorer of the night was Sophomore Kaiden Townsend with 19 points, followed by Junior Jacob Balke with 14. Balke also contributed 9 rebounds, 2/3 from the 3 point line, 2 blocks, 3 steals and 3 assists for the cardinals.
